Filterfab’s nominal micron rated filter bags provide a durable performance perfect for demanding applications.
Sentinel® Filter Bags
We proudly offer Eaton’s Sentinel® Filter bags as their high standard for quality and by-pass free filter construction results in long-lasting, yet economical, nominal micron rated filter bags.
Sentinel® nominal micron rated filter bags are available in polyester and polypropylene needled felt. These materials are guaranteed silicone-free. Additionally, they have a strong welded and non-migrating media construction.
All seams are fully welded resulting in strong, reliable joints with no by-pass or loose sewing thread. Filter bag seams are also flexible, allowing the filter bag to form to the restrainer basket. Seam edges are heat sealed, eliminating possible loose fibers. The welded construction also ensures that nothing bypasses the process media through holes in sewn fabric.
All Sentinel® filter bags use a Sentinel® seal. This seal is flexible and chemically resistant, able to adapt to any filter housing. The Sentinel seal ring snaps in place, holding its position until the vessel is closed. The pressure activated sealing lip responds to increases in differential pressure. As pressure increases, so does the seal, ensuring by-pass free performance over all ranges of pressure, temperature and micron rating. Also, filter bag removal is quick and easy thanks to the elevated bag handles.
